I can remember the smell of the racing fuel in the air mixed of course with the ocean, as we entered the track.  The sounds to me were music, as my heart raced from the anxiety of it all.  Lions Drag Strip was where the legacy began.  You get some idea of what Saturday night at Lions and Irwindale was like.

Picture 1 - This one was taken of Randy's front engine dragster, if my memory is right this one was at Bakersfield Yup you guessed thats Teresa his girlfriend at the time, I hear she still cutting Bruno's hair, man were old.:))  Del Cox (left top) and Little Cal left of Ronnie sporting Downey Service Center.
