In or about 2001 Randy was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, later he moved home with his mother Martha Marcum in La Habra, she was caring for her son once again with unconditional love. As the diabetes had really taken its toll on Randy already, In 2005 we lost Randy to complications with his diabetes. Our family had suffered a huge loss here as we knew our family would never be the same. Randy's life was full of excitement, proven by the mountains of stories that have unfolded since his passing by friends who shared time with such a unforgettable guy as our Randy. We have many great times and stories to share that are coming soon, hearts are so tender right now it is hard to share, but will do so at a much easier time for us. Please pray for Shane Allen, Randy's only son as he faces this life without his dad Randy. Til we meet at the Eastern Gate!
GodSpeed Randy! We love you and miss You!

After Randy's passing in 2006 after a year of grieving desperately for his best friend and brother Ronnie Marcum moved home with his mother also and was battling cancer of the larynx. After much prayer and 30 treatments of radiation Ronnie had beaten cancer, in while doing so the grief as most of you know overtook him. Things did not look well for Ronnie. His mom Martha and sister Gina made a commitment that they were not giving up! Encouragement was the medicine that he needed for such a time as this. His sister made many trips to the grocery store to get him anything he could keep down him and eat. Together they nursed and cared for and encouraged him from the devastating loss of his brother and separation from his family, that was also piercing his heart. They would not give up! Even in the darkest times when he didn't care to live or die. Through prayer, encouragement and bottles of Ensure Ronnie began to build his strength. There was hope coming back into him. You could see hope in the gleam of his eye. His hope was God, he had given his heart to the Lord Jesus Christ while talking with his youngest sister Steph during his sickness.
He soon wanted to race again. Following Randy's death, Ronnie sold the Nova to Andy Robles, who died in 2006. Ronnie reacquired the car and asked Fabbro to drive it at the 2007 Winternationals. This was an emotional win for PakRat Racing Team and Fabbro who drove the Nova to the winners circle that year. PakRat Racing Team had made a return.
On August 8th 2009 we lost Ronnie to a fatal accident at Fontana AutoClub Dragway.
Thank you for all your prayers for our family, and please for his daughters

GodSpeed my brother...We love you!
I CAN ONLY IMAGINE
What it will be like
When I walk by your side
I can only imagine
What my eyes will see
When your face
Is before me
I can only imagine
Surrounded by Your glory,
what will my heart feel
Will I dance for you Jesus
or in awe of you be still
Will I stand in your presence
or to my knees will I fall
Will I sing hallelujah,
will I be able to speak at all
I can only imagine
I can only imagine
I can only imagine
When that day comes
When I find myself
Standing in the Son
I can only imagine
When all I will do
Is forever
Forever worship You
I can only imagine
When all I will do
Is forever, forever worship you
I can only imagine...
